Another asteriods remake...

Well, I think its ready for more eyes. I've polished my asteroids demo up quite a bit from my last post here. Added an extra life manager, score system, level system (increase in level increases speed of asteroids), added extra life bonus, added game over screen, smoothed the thrusting. I also added random comets with particles zooming by in the background but the game slowed when this happened so I removed it for now, I also added a random enemy missile launcher but is a little buggy so I removed that for now also. The only art generated was the space background, all other art is from the stock T2D art files. All sound is from the spacescroller that comes with T2D. I was hoping to keep this first demo under 24 hours worth of work but when adding the enemy missile drained some hours and its still not good, it will make it back in though...

Not bad at all :)

Some notes:

1.)The player moves a bit too quick I think.

2.)Every now and then the mouse leaves the client area, so when you click to fire, focus on the window gets lost.

Other than that, it is cool :)

Wait, you didnt include your code . . . would it be possible to get it from you, maybe via email? Its not like this is something you should hide . . . and it would help me out a lot learning t2d.
