(The following is the Prologue to a book. This is not a game design, just an idea that I am developing in parrallel to a game.((though the game I'm designing in parrallel is pretty kick ass)) Just let me know what you think. I will keep posting the rest of the book if anyone is interested.)

Prologue
Hello Humans,

Sirtinieu (sear-tin-ee-oo) am I by name, if you favor knowing. The Cosmos Committee desires that you now know the universe is more synchronized than you could ever have imagined. I am one among the Cosmos Stewards, though you may see us as librarians. I earned my zayterin (pronounced zay-tear-in) status, what you would call platinum status, and became a committee steward like all champions before me. I won. There is of course one who never had to win, in fact, who did not even compete, other than for curiosities sake, until after he became the prime steward. This is of course Umephella.

Before we move on I must address one issue essential to an understanding of the following pages. First of all, the writings are a translation. The human languages, though poetic and smooth sounding, are not highly advanced. There are many concepts in the Universe that are not defined in your language yet.

From study we see that your languages grows very slowly, and typically only with sociological fad. New and advanced concepts are rarely adopted and hardly looked for. In your race, it means little for one being to think and speak new concepts if the entire race does not accept it. A language, after all, can only be judged by it's ability to communicate. And so the human languages are highly lacking. I will admit that we have met with many races deficient in language. Understanding that one's ability to communicate is not a measure of one's rational ability, we do not wish to degrade any race's own concepts of what is advanced. It simply is not likely that one race would be wiser than all the connected races in the Universe, and so we will not claim so as a race but as a collection of races. We only wish to communicate to you in the most effective way possible.

Throughout the writings in this book there will be introductions before each writing. Each intro will explain the significance of the writing in Umephella's life and will explain any concepts or definitions that do not translate. The language differences are explained before the passages so that the writing makes sense.

A quantity of minds can sometimes outdo quality minds when it comes down to gaining wisdom as a race because wisdom comes from realizing one's mistakes, rather than proving one's supremacy. If there are more beings around to realize one's mistakes, there will be more progress. This is why we search for new races. We see ourselves and all life as tools for learning. Do not reject another's thought because you disagree or envy their success. Envy is only a carnal lust, and detrimental to one's phelan, or wisdom.

Umephella was and is the wisest steward known throughout the universe. It (spirits have no gender) is known as the oldest and truest voice of reason and guidance. It's first inherited life was truly a remarkable one. The following writings came directly from the hands of the first Umephella or Umephella I. These writing are our most coveted treasure and this is why we wish to share them with you.
