Greetings All,

I've been working with the Torque engine for awhile now. I've noticed theres been somewhat a laack of shareing of models and all.

I wanted to try and get this kicked off.

I've been working on a MMORPG with the Torque engine for some time now. As it is going to be a Free MMORPG I'm going to offer alot of the models houses and items/trees ect for free download royality free for anyone interested. I'm just wandering how many of you would be interested in such files. There medevial Style houses. They are untextured so you will have to texture them. :/
But still there a starting point. Most of them have 3 to 4 different models to them. 1 Being Full House. 2 10% Destoryed. 3 50% Destoryed. and 4 being 100% Destoryed.

The reasion there like that is because thats the way my mmorpg is setup. You can build houses and destory houses. Allows us to have quests and events that other mmorpgs cannot do. A Town being destoryed by a group of Evil Warlocks or a Group of Trolls.

Also there are building models to the house that shows each step of the house in the building phase. 3 to 4 per house.

All the models where made in Quark4 and I'll provide the Quark files also so you guys can edit them. All I ask that if you edit them and dont mind please let people download your models. This way people dont have to reinvent the wheel over and over ageain. Specialy if you are provideing your game for free.

I'll also be putting up some of my scripts that show magic handleing, skill handleing, ect.

Yes :)

Someone else is doing a model library project, perhaps these could go to that?

Even if not, post away, love to see some new models :)

how are u going to use those destroyable buildings? seems like you want to change the building in the map depending on its conditions... if you do then how are u going to do it? When a new building is placed it needs to be re-lightened... so i guess it wont work...

I don't know. He seems to be using "model" to describe .dif files.

Either way, the shadows will be screwed up. Going to need some significant work to figure out how to create dynamic terrain lighting.
