Ozark Games Model Pack #2 for Torque.

Here are a trio of models for the community. The models are in .DTS format, and the textures (512x512) are in .PNG format. These are royalty free, and may be used in commercial and non-commercial applications (license enclosed). We hope you get some use out of them.

Nice looking models, whats the poly count and do they have any LOD? :)

Edit: I just tested them in game... the textre isn't working, and they are huge :p

Wow, you wouldn't want to light a match next to those; those are large! Sorry, no LOD for now. The face and vert counts are as follows:

Artillery Crate= 606 faces/509 verts

Oxy Tank (green)= 448 faces/220 verts

Acetylene Tank (yellow)= 468 faces/230 verts

I'm not sure why the textures aren't showing up at all. You may not have put them in the correct directory, etc. However, I am uploading (converting) these models for Torque use as-is for now; I plan on resizing them correctly (using Showtool), and giving them all a proper collision mesh...then I will re-upload them all. I will let everyone here know when that is complete, and will include an addition to the thread title in the forums for each model/pack (such as "with mesh", etc.) so you'll know they have been finished properly.

Thanks for showing this though. The reason the items look like small skyscrapers is because I sized them first for FPSCreator, which for some reason has HUGE scaling. I set up a small scene (character and an item) using models from the FPSCreator editor, and used that as a guide to scale the models properly for the FPSCreator crowd (I had to reduce the original sized of the FPSCreator models to -3 times their original size, then multiply my models by 3 to get the proper scale).

I put these out without correctly sizing them for Torque first to give people a chance to use them as soon as possible; but I plan on making them game-ready (with as little work on your part as possible) as soon as I can. I'm taking the next few days to convert the rest of my free models (as well as the existing ones from the forums), and tidy things up; then I will begin to address these Torque issues.

Would you all prefer that I release them all when I'm finished, or as I get each one done? I'll see about getting an in-game screen shot (using the Orc for scale) with a group of objects, as I finish them.

Let me know about the texture issue; we will work on things from our end.

If there are any other issues, please address them either in my threads here on GG; or in our forums.

Thanks all,
