Quark Tutorials?

I'm new to Torque modelling, and brand new to Quark. I can't seem to get the QuickGo button to function for Torque. It's grayed out. Did I install imcorrectly? Is there a patch, or am I just an idiot?

I tried the Infobase help files on the http://quark.planetquake.gamespy.com/ site, but even these were beyond me.

If anyone knows of a step-by-step tutorial to spoon-feed me, I'd really appreciate it.
