Xbox 360 Controller with Marble Blast Gold for PC

I was just wondering if there is any way to get my XBox 360 controller, which works with Windows, to be able to be used when playing Marble Blast Gold. I've tried countless times to use it on the configuration screen for the controls, but it just doesn't work. I was wondering if there is some modification i need to make to something to make this work. I love MBU for the 360, and MBG seems like a great game. i just hate having to use the keyboard and mouse, so any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
