Chapter 4 Emaga4 help

I am in chapter 4 and trying to get Emaga4 to execute.
After spending forever typing out each cs file, when I double click the .exe as it says, it loads a window and does nothing else. It's a blank window with a cursor. That's it. No errors, nothing in the log file, nothing ANYWHERE.
Anyone have any idea what the cause might be? Anyone have this code already written out and can perhaps email me?
I kept the CS files I wrote, uninstalled Emaga, and then reinstalled it once more. Same problem. Nothing but a blinking cursor in the commandline.
I'm stuck and really new at this. I'd like to have this working.
