Technical difference between commecial and indie licenses

I know there is some $ difference between these two licenses.
But I am wonderring whether there is any technical differences between commecial and indie licenses.
For example, the game built using commecial license SDK runs faster than the one from indie license. And the commecial license SDK is different from indie license SDK.
