Help getting started

I installed the Torque SDK and I have some troubles completing the shooter tutorial.
I'm at the point where I need to insert the thrusters for the ships. The code is inserted correctly, the files and folders are present but the effects aren't displaying on the screen. This happens also with the explosions so that when two things collide, they simply disappear.
Another weird thing is that when I run the full-demo, the explosion effect is often not executed so that is quite confusing.
And finally, when I use the code provided to apply a tile on the screen, here how it's displayed on my screen:

Can you host the console.log file? Maybe it will help figure out what your problem is.
