I know this isnt really the right place to put this but i cant find the information i need anywhere on this site, i am completely new to the whole game making thing.
what i want to do is make a game thats not in 2d and is actually quite good and through my google searching i found the torque game engine.
but what i need to know before i start shelling out cash is, what other software will i need to create the world/levels, the script, the characters, the character animations, the physics, the textures, the audio aspects well basically everything software-wise about making games.
please help me lol (puppy dogs eyes)

Torque Owner Unsung Zero
Terrain design - Can be done inside the engine
Scripiting - Use Codeweaver (Torquedev)
Physics - Taken care of within the engine
Mostly everything else you can find a free (or cheap) solution Here.
