CVS Download no good

I haven't been able to use CVS at:
:pserver:shon@cvs.garagegames.com:80/cvs/tse
Is this correct? Help anyone?

Whoops! forget to say I am using Tortoise CVS.

I think you need a semi-colon ; instead of a colon : after :pserver.

What is "no good"? What error messages do you get?

You should use colons. Port 80 is wrong, you need to use port 2401. Check the getting started guide - it explains all this!
