Nullarbor is a combined demoparty and game development competition. It is an event designed to bring together a community of Australian programmers, designers, artists and musicians to promote interactive technologies and a form of electronic art called demos.
The event will be held at ECU Mount Lawley, School of Computer and Information Science in Perth, Western Australia on Thursday the 23rd of February 2006.
There are hundreds of dollars worth of prizes to be won, with a $500 AUD first place prize in the game development competition! (The demoscene competitions are perfect for entering your non-interactive tech demos if your game isn't playable yet!)
Entry is open to all Australian and New Zealand residents. Can’t get to Perth? You can enter remotely and compete for cash prizes!

And I don't like the song.
It'd be nice to get away from this hellhole for a few days, though.

I still think Melbourne's better... It looks basically the same, but with more old buildings.
