TDN, why are you such a hassle.

I love community. Community is great. And I love contributing to community.
but
So I just discovered an old forum post which i thought was perfect for TDN,
so i log in to TDN (after experiencing a new and excitingly different logging-in problem, which went away after a few minutes so i'm skipping over that) and go to edit a TGE page and am informed that only TGE owners can edit the page.
Which i am a TGE owner, as my GG profile knows.
The specific page/section i wanted to edit is the Getting Started for TGE Scripters -
tdn.garagegames.com/wiki/index.php?title=Torque_Game_Engine&action=edit§ion=...

i see, that makes sense except the message really should be a bit more clear.
the message made me think the site was broken and i shouldn't bother trying to edit any other pages either.
anyhow,
i was thinking of adding a section under "TorqueScript Command Reference"
which would be titled something like "TorqueScript Global Variables Reference"
and link to for starters a page which is a copy of this old forum post.
that post is great but it'd be a lot greater if more of the variables were documented versus just listed,
and TDN seems like a great way to get that happening.

If you click edit on a section and get a blank page, just hit edit at the top of the page instead. The edit section links tend to break and I'm seriously considering turning them off. They seem to confuse people more than help.

The combo lock just indicates it's private (and therefore not for distribution), but if you can see it you can typically edit it.If you click edit on a section and get a blank page, just hit edit at the top of the page instead. I stand corrected! I do still think that the initial page is for TDN moderators only, but Ben is the expert!

(To add on to what Stephen says - we still definitely like letting moderators update the hub pages, but it's not locked down anymore, so if you feel confident to update it, go for it!) It's all versioned, so we can always bump things back if they go wrong. :)

We're going to be putting some changes into place in the coming weeks to make it a lot easier to navigate the hug pages and get your pages showing up in the right areas.(To add on to what Stephen says - we still definitely like letting moderators update the hub pages, but it's not locked down anymore, so if you feel confident to update it, go for it!)
