Any Firefox users having touble with GG site?

Seems that whenever I go through the search feature to locate resources and forum threads, firefox spikes my CPU usage up to 90 - 100%.

I've tested out other sites, gone through google and such, and it seems to behave normally. The moment I search the forums and find a post that looks promising...

Yeah. Just seeing if I'm the only one so I know where to start looking for trouble. (C;

So is this one.... I am suspecting that it's a particular combination of applications I tend to run simultaneously. =\

Might also be the extentions that you have running. I know this happens to people running fasterfox that have prefetching on....

Well, a little experimenting has proven to me that I have some applications that are just flat out "resource hogs", when I hit a prticularly long thread or one with many images, poor 'ole FF has to fight to get any attention. =\

At least I can work around it for now - knee deep in code right now, so this will have to wait.

I definitely appreciate the input - I'll look into it. =)

Robert Meuse and Ron Yaketta reported the problem also in Ricks plan.

It happens to me when I follow their steps to reproduce it, but I don't notice it really unless I'm looking for it.

My firefox extensions: sessionsaver, web developer, download manager tweak, FLST, unread tabs, flashblock and extended statusbar.
