Maya (Rig) DTS question

I have my model, and him set up with a joint rig, and when I made a animation of his arm going up it doesnt see that it is a squence, and it says it cant export it. Looking at the MayaDTS video tutorial at fuildimages.com my rig is different, and same with the explain animation with the box. What type of rig do I have to use to get this to work?

Here is my rig,(dont mind the weird deformation, I fixed that);

OK, I got my rig and a little animation set up from 0 to 30, and I made a bound box for my guy then I hide it, then embeded the shape, then I regisiter the details, then took out the mesh out of the base01/start01 and replaced it with my rig. I made a squence node called "Sequence_Idle3" then when I go to export it, I get an error; Error: Invalid file type specified: exportDSQ

:( any helps?

Now! lol I think I understand it better ! I got the simpleShape dealie working, but when I export my own shape it crashes and maya goes away.

My character has no connecting limbs, could this be a problem?

I got this error too a while back. This was because my exporter plugin wasn't enabled in plug-in manager. I clicked it on and hit compile and it worked fine
