P.S. Just do a search for something like icon on www.download.com and you might find some programs that will allow you to change the icon of a program. You might want to check also, but changing the icon of the demo might be against the EULA agreement.
Hope that helps.

I think there are programs out that will allow you to change the icon of a program but you will have to look for it. Other than that, no, it isn't possible without the source code.P.S. Dylan what you can do is have a separate executable with a custom image which executes the engine demo. that way you can have your own icon which automatically runs the game. no one will care that there's another demo exe in there with another name.

You can use a utility called Reshack to change the icon in almost any compiled EXE. Really useful little tool.

MicroAngelo is a pretty good program for changing executable icons. It has a lot of features, but it's not free. And using it or a similar tool on the Torque demo might violate the EULA. I'm pretty sure you won't be able to release a commercial product using a modified TGE demo.
In light of that, you might be better off just hiring someone with a commercial TGE licence to recompile the engine for you with your logo/icon instead of the Torque icon. As far as I know, that's legal for the commercial licensing crowd.
But you should really think about getting the Indie license of Torque as soon as you can afford it. The sooner you start working with the code, the quicker you will be able to add in new features and effects. I had the Torque SDK for almost a year before I started tinkering with the code. Now, I wish I had started with it on day one.
Good luck,

Using such a tool could be seen as reverse engineering right? Anyway.. you can use Resourcehacker... it's a free program that can change the icons on programs. But on windows programs it can even change the windows! I edited the paint ui with it
