Ok. somebody please tell me what the difference is between TGE and TSE. dose TSE just do textures? or is it a stand alone engine that you can use to make games as well with a few texture tweeks? looking at the demos there are dang near the same thing except one can support complex texturing and the other can't some one please tell me the difference

In comparison to TGE, major Points are:
- Complete new Terrain Engine (Atlas)
- Shader Support
- Dynamic lighting and shadows (in development)
To answer your question:
TSE is a complete engine by itself. It's not an extension for TGE or something like that. At the moment, you can't own TSE if you don't own TGE. Reason for that: TSE is at the moment a ea release. It's not finished yet. If you wanna use TSE you have to deal with changing technology. The "complex texturing" you mentioned are shaders (glow effects, the water, dynamic textures, fresnel effects...) . That's what it makes so special.
