Designing a character in-game

Friends,

Is it possible to have a setup like Star Wars Galaxies where upon character creation you can have several 'sliders' to change the character's appearance? Such things like fatter jaw, narrower eyes, fatter body, different hair, etc. If so, are their any resources available to do this?

Thanks!

I would be interested in knowing this as well. I guess you could use blended animation to achieve the effect. For example, if you animate a character growing from slim to fat then found a way to control this animation frame by frame using a slider in TGE with the animation freezing at the frame you leave it at this might work. I do not know how this would then blend with other animations in TGE however.

I have come up with this idea while rigging a character in XSI. I know it is possible to do in that app using expressions or shape animation and that the animations will blend nicely, but I am not sure how it could be implemented into TGE.

There is a resource for this.

EDIT:
Note that it is not as robust as a finished solution as in SW:G, but it is an excellent beginning.
