K hi all, I really wanted to start my own game.

So I was wondering if any anybody had any tips,books,tuts to show for someone who for right just want to do little easy games to get me started. Like solo projects

Please help.

    There are plenty of tutorails, a few books such as the all in one game programming book as well..

    But i think the best advice I can give you is....

    Work within your capacity.


    There is no way 1 person can make a game such as the multimillion dollar games the industry is spitting out. It would take you a very very long time to do so.

    So i suggest making a small simple game at first. Why not remake pong? or a super mario clone. Something smaller and simple is best to start off with.

    I would recomend t2d. if you are a windows (.net) developer, you can try out my C# wrapper for t2d also... but i wont be done with the next version until around new years.

    Learn linear algebra, programming, and modeling/animation software. i would suggest starting with 3d rad engine.

    I will purchase TGE in the next month and was wondering what other esitials I will need to DEV. a full fledg game?
