TSE Demo Crashing

Hey, I'm planning on getting TSE sometime soon and so I downloaded the TSE Demo to see what it's like. When I open up the demo it says that im using old drivers. So i checked the read me and it says i need Directx 9. So i downloaded DirectX 9 and installed it with no problems. And so i went to test it again but I still got the message. I looked at het readme again and saw that if you have radeon drivers that are 8500 or 9000 then you need to get a new driver. I use a radeon 9200, and i think that might be the problem, but im not sure.

The vertex shader is 1.1 and pixel 1.4 suggest you upgrade that card asap.

I'm downloading the 9c, and do i just need a driver or do i need a new card? It would be alot better if i could just download a new driver, cause i use a laptop and graphics cards for laptops are a bit pricey.

I went to options and set everyhting to the lowest, 16 bit, force low texture quality, all i have for driver display is Mobility Radeon 9200. I tested it and it still crashed.

Go to ATI.com and get the new drivers. You may have to install the Omega drivers (available elsewhere - google for it) to get them to work - laptop vendors like to restrict you to their "stable" drivers which are usually many months out of date.

Alright I'm downloading Catalyst 5.12 Windows XP. When I have it installed and when I've tested the TSE Demo I'll get back to you guys on the results. If it still crashes I'll go get the Omega drivers and test it again.

custom drivers for laptops.

BTW I think the mobility and the standard 9200 have different IC. I think I remember someone on the net that had a collection of variouscustom drivers for laptops.

Setup was unable to complete the installation.
Try to setup your display adapter with standard VGA
driver before running setup.
The only display adapter i have is Mobility Radeon 9200.
I'm going to try to install Omega now.

Hey guys, Ive been having some wierd errors recently. basically my computer screen goes blue and my computer restarts about every two or three hours. I think it might have something to do with the omega driver.here is where i am sent to when i click the microsoft send error button:

The omega driver is the catalyst driver with a hacked installer so it runs on laptops and stuff. If Omega mostly works and the official laptop drivers mostly don't, your primary option is to write to your laptop manufacturer and demand they release updated drivers. :)

I don't understand what you're asking... :(

You can pick up some pretty cheap cards that will run TSE.
