.Hi,
its Steve from Arteria..
We have just released our Dungeon Theme Pack.. The main concept ehind this pack is to provide the game designer with construction kit pieces to make their own dungeon and cave/catacomb levels, and over 40 contruction pieces are included in the pack, in the form of dungeon corridors, cave passages etc. The pack also contains a skeletal bridge, a skull cave entrance, plus other accesories.
We have also provided a 10 music track soundtrack, which is very atmospheric and will provide the perfect ambience setting for the levels made with the contents in the pack. To round the pack up, we also provide you with 3 sky cubes for use outside the level setting.

I thought I'd just check my inbox, and to my suprise, I have 12 new e-mails, all resulting from Andrew's problem.Quote:Just to note Arteria-Gaming isn't fake, and I'm sure everyone will enjoy their next pack, it looks very nice. ;)
I have tried and tried to get responses from this fake company and no luck. Maybe if I keep posting things in every game forum possbile then arteria-gaming will reply to my e-mails and actually treat me as a member/customer. Later -
- Tom.

Shame one loud mouth gets so much attention.

I have at least half, if not more, of Arteria's packs and they are wonderful. I've emailed them questions and always get prompt and informative responses. Shame one loud mouth gets so much attention.

It's a shame I was nice enough to edit my submission and yet you repost it and also won't let it go!

Regardless of whether you edited your original posts, it was still an immature and inconsiderate method of drawing attention to your problem.

Wys - Yeah, but as long as we keep riding him about it, he may not go away. heh.

What I did was not immature and it was not inconsiderate. Taking someones money and running (which was how I felt) is! I have read many forums in regards to this company and have read a lot of good and I have read some bad. I knew that steve liked to salvage his rep so I posted on His forums only hoping to receive a response to my post. As soon as I saw the first post I re-posted my thanks and we started talking in private and actually worked things out in a civilized manor. He says he did not receive my e-mails and I believe him. In the same respect I also have all the e-mails that I sent to him in my sent folder showing proof I did contact him several times as well as post questions on his forum. He told me he was having problems with his forums and that's fine.
As for the rest of you....you are doing the one thing Steve did not want to happen and that was bring more attention to a negative situation. You can ride me as long as you want. I am not going anywhere. You might want to ask Steve if he wants you to comment further because the more comments you make the more I have to defend myself with the truth. I have absolutely nothing to hide and I will not be GOING ANYWHERE!!
So if you want to keep dragging this topic around be my guest. I started it and I also quickly finished it. You guys are the one's who drug it up again not me. I do think Steve does a great Job and I am glad that I was able to contact him. I am also glad that he didn't bail. Website being disfunctional and no returned messages makes people wonder. But, that was all straightened out and Steve and I are moving on with the situation.
In the US we have a company called the Better Business Bureau and we take scams seriously. I was protecting myself and my investment and anyone who thinks otherwise is ridiculous. I have every right to defend my investment.
Sorry Steve but they don't seem to want to pipe down.

If you have paid $280.00 for a service from a particular company and could never get a hold of them..NOT ONCE!! After exhausting the only VALID way of contacting that company wouldn't you maybe...I don't know post a forum that would get their attention? I mean, if you are starting to feel that the company is trying to avoid you would you really care about being considerate? Or, would it upset you because you spent $280.00 on a service that is incomplete? What I did was not immature and it was not inconsiderate. Taking someones money and running (which was how I felt) is! Some members have subscribed to one or more of those threads which means they would have been sent a copy of your original posts.
When editing those posts it would have been polite/fair to have included an explanation that the problem has been resolved and/or an apology for jumping to conclusions and causing inconvenience to other forum members.
I am not trying to make you "go away", I am merely trying to make you realise that you could have handled the problem without inconveniencing so many others in the process and that you could do things differently if you had a similar problem in the future.

I understand that you were upset, but there was no need to post the same message in eight separate threads. That is the electronic equivalent of a child stamping their foot repeatedly to solicite attention and *is* considered to be spamming and bad netiquette. Some members have subscribed to one or more of those threads which means they would have been sent a copy of your original posts.

I also re-edited those posts for future persons other than Steve who may stumble upon it. The Tom Bushby has to sit there and quote what I said making it resurface. Steve sent me an e-mail thanking me for editing my posts and now here he is reposting what I had originally written.
Do we also not gain knowledge from forums? What if, someone was going through the same problem as I? Would it be valid (my post)? We come to these forums to gain knowledge and share secrets, tips and etc.... I was wanting answers and feedback from those who were in my same shoes. I didn't want to start a new thread as someone mentioned because that would draw more attention than just posting in a thread that I figured Steve would have contact with. Which one? I did not know.
As I have said before I have made peace with Steve and I don't recall having any enemies here but if I bother you(everyone) that much keep writing in this forum or you can write me directly at alawson@pipelinegames.org . I will be more than happy to retype and retype and re-explain myself until my thoughts and ways are as clear as tap water.
I appreciate your inputs and I do not discount them. But, just as I have enugh respect to listen and absorb your comments I ask that you only do the same. I think that in all honesty the people other than Steve that were trying to protect him and his company made things worse by blowing things out of proportion. I have seen it time and time again people on these forums not wanting others to express their opinions because they think it's tearing the other person down. So I have had over 30 e-mails/posts from different people saying how awful I am and that I should go away and that I have a big mouth...that I am a liar.
You are angry with me because of expressing my opinion on a certain subject to get something resolved. You all are the ones tearing people down. Look at the plank in your own eyes before you look at the splinter in mine. I have done nothing different than what you all have done here which is express your opinions on a certain matter. Your matter being the post I posted.
I was looking for help from this forum and the only person that did help me was Steve. Mission complete.
I am sorry cliff, Wysardry, Allen Hembra, Tom Bushby, Johnathan and dreamer. Somewhere along the line I must have attacked YOU. Somewhere along the line I was saying nasty things about YOU. Please forgive me for saying those AWFUL things to YOU. You talk to me about nettiquette....well lead by example. Do as I say not as I do doesn't work. Instead of attacking me for my opinion why couldn't you just say that you haven't encountered that issue. Or, here's a concept, don't say anything at all because you don't have a solution.
Wysardry I hear what you are saying and thank you.

I understand that I could have chosen other words that were less vendictive but I cannot undo the past. The reason behind multiple posts is due to the fact that the arteria-gaming threads have not had any post since 11-2005 and I was unaware which post would be, if any, read. I also re-edited those posts for future persons other than Steve who may stumble upon it. The Tom Bushby has to sit there and quote what I said making it resurface. Andrew, this is 100% incorrect. We aren't angry at WHAT you posted, we're angry at HOW you posted it. If you want to post a page long rant about how crappy someone is, that's fine, be our guest, have fun, here's an extra keyboard in case yours breaks. However, DON'T put it on 8 different threads. THAT is the part that pissed us off, NOT what you actually posted.
You seem to keep thinkin we're pissed that you posted something at all, but that isn't the case. Again, post it if you have issues, obviously it got the attention you needed. Just don't post it in 8 different places. If you had posted in one place, you probably would have received the exact same response from Steve (I'd bet money on it) without pissing everyone in the community off.
Do you see the difference? Post rant = good, Cross-Post rant = bad.
Maybe GG should step in and tell us all to stfu so this flame war can stop.
