List of all GUI Controls?

I've been trying to get more and more comfortable with the GUI Editor and controls, and there are a number of good starter tutorials out there, but none seem to go beyond the very basics. The list of Gui controls in the Editor is pretty extensive, and it's hard to figure out what each one is supposed to do and how it should be used. I can't seem to find any documentation for most of them, except perhaps for a class reference entry in the engine documentation, which typically doesn't provide much explanation.
I see on TDN that there is a file under "Getting Started" -> "GUI" -> "Complete Gui Control List", which would be awesome, but it's empty and doesn't appear to be editable.
I've put together a list of all of the Gui controls provided with TGE and started collecting any information I could find about each one (which isn't much). Seems like it would make a good wiki page for others to add comments to, unless the "Complete Gui Control List" page is going to be finished by someone more knowledgeable.
Should I go ahead and start a page like that on TDN, or wait for the real thing?

I'd find it helpful as well, the TDN page for that should be ready by the time TDN comes out of beta (who knows when). So it will be available in time.

I have a list of all the controls put together, but since I'm still pretty new to this I don't have a lot of the information filled in. Would people be interested in contributing to it (like a wiki page)?

I don't have the book with me right now but I think there is some info in the 3D Game Programming All-inOne. However, if the list and description are there, I don't know if we can legally post it verbatim on TDN. Can someone from GG or Ken Finney shine some light on this?

Edit: Ah, I looked again, and now it appears to be editable. Okay then.

I started putting some info into it, although it's not very much yet. I hope others will contribute.
