Hammer configuration

Firstly i have tired of the poor tools to export the dif files...
i have tried the quark and read about hammer...
i don't know which is precisly the best . so can any one help me to choose any one of them...

and hwo to setup the configuration the hammer.
..i'know that its not a commertial tools but that for a test :-)

Setting up hammer is easy. you just need a .wad package file of your textures and you need to set hammer to make the difs with map2dif.exe.

Here's a link to wally, a program for dragging and dropping textures into a .wad file. Doesn't get easier than that.
