I've searched some but I wanted to know whether TSE will be portable to PS3. I heard about Torque running on a PS2, so I thought there may be a possiblity that it could be portable to PS3..... if anyone has found a good link to this effect, let me know.

If PS3 makes it as easy to get into the console market as a indie developer, than I will hop on board (assuming they lower the dev kit cost).
No offense to Matt on this, but I took his comments about teams will take years to get to the point where they can have a title on a console, although for the most part it is true, I don't want many of you to get the wrong impression that you have no chance. In life you will learn one thing above all else, and that is: The only way you will fail, is if you give up. Everyone in this community has what it takes to create something amazing, that can be sold on a console. Forgive me Matt if I took your comment the wrong way (I agree with most/all you said), I just got too much of a negative feeling from it.
Anyway! I think the overall truth is, we don't know until we have both systems in front of us.

To reply to the question on how picky Microsoft is about XBox dev kits. They pretty much have one requirement that may hinder a large group of indie teams (not in a bad way). They will NOT sell dev kits to start-ups UNLESS you have an experienced team. That require that you have some sort of track record. To me, that is a very low requirement. The dev kits do cost 10k, no matter if your developing for XBLA, or a box title. If you can surpass those two requirements, than you can launch a title on XBLA! (My source is direct conversation with the licesnse department). If PS3 makes it as easy to get into the console market as a indie developer, than I will hop on board (assuming they lower the dev kit cost).
