Is it possible to combine TGE with T2D?

by Lee-Orr Orbach · in Torque Game Builder · 11/29/2005 (7:32 am) · 4 replies

I was wondering if it is possible to combine TGE & T2D in order to make a game, that includes both? and if it is possibile, how can it be done? I have searched for answers, but I found none, so I am posting this here.

thanks,
Lee-Orr

p.s. is this the right place?

I'm not sure what you searched for, but it's been out there since the day of T2D's release (and earlier in Melv's .plans.

Add the T2D directory to your TGE project.

Compile.

Then copy the T2D examples folder in and you have both. I've been using T2D 1.02 + TLK + TGE 1.3 for a while now. I'm waiting for TLK and T2D's TGE 1.4 updates to convert over my changes.

You can do all sorts ;)

I currently use T2D for all the HUD components in the game Im writing.

Hello again, for some reason, I can't combine the 2, I have been trying it for 2 days now, and I simply can't get it to run.

is there a guide about it, or can someone explain abit more fully?

thanks,
Lee-Orr

p.s. my question might sound stupid, but I hardly use c++

Are you probably trying to do it with TGE 1.4?
T2D is currently build around TGE 1.3.
