To be honest im not even sure what occlusion means.. ...is it when 2 sounds block each other out?...basically what im looking to do is get pans working properly.. ...doppler if possible..

I posted a related question about using EAX in hardware-audio section. Has anybody investigated using complex 3D effects yet?
