Is it me...... or what???

Hi my name is pieter and this is my first post.
The other day i was looking for a game engine, i know i only want the best. so a searched for a good engne and i came here. I normaly dont bother to pay for something good but before i do that i want to see for myself if IT is good. So i downloaded the demo version of TGE.
So this is the problem:
- when i install the .exe file and browse to it to start the demo. I get a Black DOS screen and nothing happens. I searched the forum and found notning about this issue. so is it me doing something wrong or what??

ps. sorry for the bad english i never was (or is it =were) good in english

As Stefan says - its most likely your 3d drivers are too old or not installed at all. If your graphics card is a Nvidia card for example, then download the latest drivers for it and install.
Good luck! And the engine is really worth every dollar

The black DOS screen is a "console" window. Right after it shows up, the "real demo" window should pop up and display itself.As Stefan says - its most likely your 3d drivers are too old or not installed at all. I have found a few problems with the latest nVidia drivers refusing to start TGE unless its set to start full screen. If set to start windowed it just sits there showing the console window and doesnt do anything else. This seems to happen mainly on Win XP with 6800GT cards.
