GG loading logo

by Dylan Jones · in Torque Game Engine · 11/19/2005 (8:01 pm) · 61 replies

I dont remember reading anywhere that the that main gg picture had to be one the to advertise the engine. I was wondering if I could change it so it would fit the style of my game, because the white background then all dark into the game is a pretty big contrast. I would like an employee to see if something like this;

www.imouse.hostultra.com/gg.jpg
is allowed? It still says the saying, and made with Torque. Does that little G have to be in it somewhee for me to be able to do this?

If this is not allowed then I wil keep the orginal logo.

ps. I thought I could do this because EA usually has different loading screen logos for different games.

Take care!

Some issues never die, and this is an old one. :)

Our ENGINE does not require you to display the logo -- our INDIE license does. Our COMMERCIAL license does not.

For $100 (1.4 indie) you get a full-featured AAA 3D game engine with source code. You won't find a better deal anywhere. The indie EULA is clearly linked to on the product page and we are upfront about what minimal branding we require for the DISCOUNTED indie license.

Since you haven't purchased a license yet, your complaint was misdirected, and no harm. You were simply looking at the wrong product. Take a look at our commercial licenses which should better suite your needs.

I am closing this thread as it is an old issue. Please email us if you have any further questions about licensing or requirements.
