How to get Mirror, or reflective surfaces in DIFs?

I'm a bit newbee here, so is possible this was somewhere else, but i'd like to know something... is it possible to make difs (the interiors) have environmetal mapped textures? (perhaps, like the chrome effects in Quake III)

Yes it is, search around for "addmaterialmapping" and you should find the info you need.
by default though, you might get all or nothing, and I don't think it plays well with the lighting.
