Game building...

I am having a real problem. I made a part of a game, and I don't know were to begin. I am a real newbie, so please make it a simple as possible. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Well, if you don't know where to start... i'd suggest buying the book "3d programming all in one".

it shows you how to get started with torque.

I recommend you get "3D Game Programming All In One" and "Advanced 3D Game Programming All In One" books by K Finney. These books take you through the whole process of making a game with TGE from start to finish. Plus read Torque Documentation: Getting Started chapter.


edit: try to buy both books together if you can. It will save you some money.

I saw a thread recently about writing design docs, and people outlined how they started on a new project. Maybe trying searching "design documents".

I have the "all in one" book but it didn't really told me that how the engine works, if i wants to build a game, i need a step by step book.
