Where am i supposed to find patch.exe ?

Trying to figure out how to apply patches... yet patch.exe eludes me. I read it's supposed to be with winCVS, buts it's not in any version i have... also i got some files http://unxutils.sourceforge.net/ but when i run that patch.exe it just hangs. Been searching around the forums for nearly 30 minutes following links that don't seem to get me where i'm supposed to go.

So can someone tell me where to find this?

The patch you need for windows IS in unxutils. You have to run it from the command line though. Read the docs about patching in the docs.

Ok that patch seems to be the right one. you have to send the right commands to it or will not respond at all. thanks for helping. now i just gotta figure out why it don't like my patch.
