Most people here use, have used or will use torque, but what is it exactly that attracts you? (without complex answers about how it works).

2) I like what I am seeing from GarageGames. Not only are they growing as an Indie publisher, their game development tools are maturing. I like the additional focus on refining the content pipeline for TGE and TSE, the development of TDN, and the release of T2D. In fact, I own TGE and T2D not because I plan on developing anything on them anytime soon, but because I want to support their continued development and as an investment in GarageGames and Indie developers using their tools. By the time I finish college I think Torque will have matured into a killer app that will allow me to focus on design as I develop my first Indie game.
3) I like that Torque is cross-platform and that GarageGames continues to place an emphasis on this. It is important for Indies to have the ability to develop for niche markets and OSes that major publishers are not focusing on.
4) I applaud GarageGames' community support with their servers, bandwidth, and website development. As someone who is a website administrator and developer I can really appreciate the hours and hard work that goes into this.

1) I would like to support Indie game development as much as possible and prepare for the possibility of an Indie games revolution. As major publishers continue to standardize and increase the cost (and therefore risk) of games development, the burden of creating new and innovative gameplay will increasingly fall onto the backs of Indie developers. I look at the film and music industries as existing examples of this. Also, Indie developers will become more viable as current methods for digital distribution and marketing mature and new ones emerge.2) I like what I am seeing from GarageGames.
