Problems Exporting to .DTS

I am using blender, and I have the .DTS exporter, but I can't get it to work, I renamed the exporter file to DTSPython, but when I export it does nothing. Usally when I export I have the option to save where I want to export it to. But when I use the .DTS exporter for blender I can't save where I want to export to.
