Recruiting core dev team for Civil War FPS

by James Finn · in Jobs · 10/23/2005 (12:32 pm) · 6 replies

We are looking for lead programmers and artists who have experience creating game(s) with the TGE.

American Civil War FPS is a first-person / third-person action game. You are an elite soldier during the age of muskets and swords. The goal is to make a full "muskets and swords" Battlefield 1942 type clone. First, we will make a Tech Demo and then seek a retail publisher for full financing . Currently I am self-financing this project. If the game does not receive support from a retail publisher, then we will consider self-publishing the game. The core design and development team will own the game.

You need to lock down the base dir for those sites. I doubt GG is going to be happy with some of the files you have openly available there.

Thanks,
I didn't relize the index page was missing.
Some of the folders were for internal personal use only.
Thanks again,
James

You made Devils Own? (Sorry, not about your current game. :p) Your site layout looks formilliar.

Yes,
I was part of the mod team that created Devils Own, a Napoleonic UT2K4 mod.
Taking experience and lessons learned from working on the mod project and
applying them to new commercial game project.

An experienced Torque programmer has joined the development team and we are negotiating with character animator. We expect to have original CW soldiers and weapons up and running soon. We will be developing this game using soon to be released Torque Shader Engine.

If you have experience creating original mission maps and would like to help, then check out link for more information - click on Civil War project.
