Picking Up Weapons And Other Questions

Ok, Number 1, Ive got the Weapon Veiwable in game, how could i add it to inventory and use it, next, For a Player Animation, Like Running, How could i turn 120 different 3ds files into 1 single file....and in dts format? im trying to use Milkshake to do it, and it crashes alot....lol, my luck....
EDIT - Ok i got the wep in game, in the players hand when he starts, but about 1 second in, it changes to the croddbow again, and fires crosbow ammo, i have completely changed the inventory for the player, not giving him the crosbow at all, and its not in the mission, but i get it somehow, where am i screwing up?

Are you sure that you've changed the crossbow out complete, and not just the static model? It sounds like it's running a crossbow animation (and model) when you fire the weapon. And as far as turn 120 3ds files into one dts for animation... I'd animate in Max and export, or MS3D and export, but not mixing the two.

Ive went through my whole gun file and it ends up the same, would sound files make a big difference?

Hmm, as my above post said, keeps changing, and im getting angry at milkshape, lol, i try to load my model and it cuts off peices, ugh, oh well......im gonna have to find some other way to do what i need to do... 3ds im not fimiliar with..

Check the console "~" for errors those would keep it from compiling your changes. Also it may contain a clue to why it changes.
