Torque Waterfall

I've read that there are many different ways to create a waterfall with the Torque engine. I am not very experienced with Torque and I would really love if someone could point me in the right direction to learn what I need to create a waterfall with particle effects. I just links to resources, I am not requesting anything other than a good point in the right direction. Thanks!

For Gearo we used a huge DTS shape with some particles to good effect...

Think of what makes up a "waterfall" to you... and what style are you using? For Gearo we used a huge DTS shape with some particles to good effect...

Once I've created the water fall effect which spills down on my water block (the torque water block) there will be no water block at the top of the water fall right? Because you can only set water to one height. So the river that's at the top of the waterfall needs to be created as a DTS or something? How can I mimic the water block this way so they are seemless?

Purchase TSE, it supports multiple water blocks :)

You can have more than one water block in regular old TGE.

So to do this I would just define another water block in scripts? Any other considerations if I do it this way?

You can. I usually just copy and pasted, saved, and reloaded and then moved it in the editor. You can edit the height and overall size of the water in mission. Relighting or reloading will make sure the shoreline alpha is correct.

Or, you could buy the Tim aste enviroment pack, it has lots of effects including a pre-made waterfall.

That's how I did mine... Reason for DTS was that I ran into performance
problems with my old machine.
See Particle tutorial at http://www.codesampler.com/torque.htm
Try making a waterfall without the DTS first, should be easy...
