Hi all ,
to be honest i am an animator , and love playing with max 6/7..... receantly i discovered a game maker and had a lots of fun making my own 2d games ....
i d love to have a go now with a 3d game ,my quastion is simple ....
Can i model , texture and animate Character in 3d Max 7 . and then export it to Torque ...(with biped ,or bones and texture)
reason 1... I can only use max and would hate to be in position where i need to animate and texture my character in some other tool i barely can use, and i am not really keen on learning another program....
Thanks a lot
i noticed that some game engine have their own bones

I have never used torque , how hard is it for beginers ,,, it took me few days to make my first game in Game maker,,,,
I have never programmed , but i played alot with lingo in director and etc ... is it possible to use a game model and copy codes and learn from finished games ,,,i seem to learn a lot by looking at the script in finished games if they are accessable :)

3DSM is used alot in the gaming industry, i was an animator myself before game development took me over, you will learn quite a few skills working on games, good luck with it :)
