So im a senior in high school defiantly want to get into the game industry as either a programmer or game designer but im kind of undecided on which college i should try and get into should i go for a school with a game programming degree or just a computer science/ software engineering degree i recently saw that devry had a game programming major and asked for more info get a call from one of there reps and it felt more like they were trying to sell me a used car not inform me about there program they kept on trying to get me to just go ahead and apply when they couldn't even tell me which programming classes/languages they offered or even there job placement percentages. im personally am leaning towards a software engineering degree from san jose or San Francisco state because its a name i can trust.

Well, game programing won't pay well. You know, like game scripting for the Unreal Engine ect. That can all be done in Japan, or China, or India. What you should do is learn a lot of math and lower level programming and help create graphics engines like the Unreal and HL Engines. You could also work on physics engines like Novix. Just my thought.

You might want to try a college that teaches English. And STUDY it. There are wonders to be had with the English language. Especially punctuation.

And periods in sentences. Try saying that paragraph out loud. Whoa.
