MilkShape Problems

All I did was attempt to build the very easy, "first aid kit" Chapter 16 Page 480, #9 (Beginners Guide to 3d Programming) Well I look in the "file", "export" , and there is nothing about the "torque Game Engine" there! I have it installed both from the CD, and the indie 100$ liscense. I have no idea what is going on? Anyone help me?

I bought a Liscense. To have rights to the engine. 100$. Anywho, I do exactly what the book says, go to file, export, find "Torque Game Engine DTS" it isnt there. Believe me, I have looked over , well around 100 times. Cause this is what is stopping me from going further in the book! I also installed the version on the CD. No luck.

Get a newer version just in case 1.7.4 or better.

You should find Torque as an export option under the 3rd divider.
If not, or the exports don't turn out right (or just on general principle) add the DTS plus exporter:

You might have not put the torque plugin in the milkshape folder

The exporter I recommend is the Community Member authored, "DTSPlus!" one which has it's own Resource Page. This exporter's .DLL will need to be located within the Ms3d ROOT folder and then brought to the UI with the Shortcut & Plugin Manager Tool[itself, a plugin...;)]
This part I don't understand, "Well the problem is with Milkshape". I have never really had any issues with the program Milkshape3D and either exporter....???
Read all the documents available about the toolset and it's exporters; as they give you more than enough to work with....

Skip the 'default' DTS exporter that appears under the Menu heading; as it's the GarageGames.com compiled version and it leaves a LOT of features out in the cold. The exporter I recommend is the Community Member authored, "DTSPlus!" one which has it's own Resource Page. I just meant that for some reason it sounded like he thought the problem was with the version (licenced or non-licenced) of Torque he was using.I haven't had any problems with Milkshape either.

Second... In Milkshape... go to File then Export... look for "Torque Game Engine DTS"
"I have it installed both from the CD, and the indie 100$ liscense. I have no idea what is going on?"
I'm not sure what you mean... The book comes with a procompiled (TGE 1.2) version of TGE for you to use with the book.
