new HEAD layout??

This isn't a complaint; just, could someone give a general idea of what the thinking is behind the changing directory structures? Just a quick roadmap of intent :)

Edit: (much later tonight) Nevermind-->must have been a CVS hickup :)

LOL, desmond maybe what you say is your dir while CVS is running, it creates some new dirs, etc ... temp stuff ... then it just puts it back as it was
