Can we change the camera apect ration?

Hello again,
I want to keep the display 4:3 as normal but change the camera aspect ratio to that of widescreen, the display will still fill the screen but in affect be a wider picture squashed into the 4:3 - bascially the same as anamorphic on DVD.
Thanks in advance :)

Thank heaven. I thought...cameras in a 3d world are cheap. If they're rationing off cameras now, then things have gotten very drastic.

What ratio is the "widescreen" you are shooting for? 5:3 ?

It's funny, I usually typo ratio into ration too. My finger's are faster (and dumber) than my brain, it seems.--

I have added a console command that calls gluPerspective, however nothing happens and so I suspect I have to call something else to actually put the change into effect - any ideas?
