Integration with 1.4

How well does the Lighting Kit integrate with the 1.4 source? I want to spend lots of time developing my project and less time merging code bases... Hopefully this is going to be easy. if the result looks favourable, I'll be seriously thinking adding TLK to my purchasing budget....

The new Torque 1.4 demo includes the TLK 1.4 demo binary... so yes, it's up and running! We aren't quite ready to release the updated version of the TLK publicly yet, but at least you have proof positive of how close it is to being done now. Thanks again to John for working with us to get the TLK demo integrated into the Torque 1.4 demo!

Well what do you know... just bought it and cant wait for the TSE side.
Was sceptical at first and wanted to roll my own for TSE but dem vids convinced me that I
would be a fool to waste time reinventing the wheel, even if my ego might take a dent
or two.
Consider me chastised and squarely in the kick ass TLK corner ;p

I recommend picking up and using the current version of the Torque Lighting Kit. Then when the official TGE 1.4 is released and TLK 1.4 is available you can update your project.

Glad to hear it!
No need for that, TLK is designed with user modification in mind, so you can focus your ideas and energy into making your TLK unique. :)
If you have any changes you'd like to share with the TLK community GarageGames has private resources for TLK users, and if you have any questions head over to the private TLK forums - I'll be happy to answer them.
Welcome aboard!

I recommend picking up and using the current version of the Torque Lighting Kit. Then when the official TGE 1.4 is released and TLK 1.4 is available you can update your project.
The TGE 1.4 release candidate still has some bugs that need worked out.
