I'm currently writing a sequel to my orignial "Bugged Out Rally" game called "Bugged Out Jet Rally". Not much of a name change but there are more features added to this game. A Window's game demo can be downloaded here, 15.8MB.

Features:
-fully animated drivers and special moves while driving
-uses enhance collision detection, which enhances physics response
-selection of different races from within each level
-see animated characters while in component ugrade
-vehicle component upgrades
* engine
* jet
* shocks
* tires
-final game will feature having four shooting weapons and four deterrant weapons (like bombs)

What I'm looking for are 3D modelers that can use Maya, interior level making, texturing, and understand DIF and DTS exporters. But if you are already good at texturing and modeling but not familiar with DIF and DTS exporters, then that will be no problem. I can work with that.

Comment if you're interested.

Thanks.

Edit comment: this is using TGE

Look at the 'Help' context and see how you can get a race started.

Looks good...is this using 1.4RC2? Also will my bug be able to win a seatbelt upgrade? :^)

Still in the dark ages using TGE 1.3, and no to seatbelt. They're too restrictive.

Only downfall, AI is impossible to beat. :/

Has anyone figured out how to beat it?

Thanks guys for this info. As a developer, sometimes I fail to think outside of the box. I have made adjustments for AI vehicles to speed down/up based on how far back/ahead human players are. Now, I find it very easy to beat, but it should be just right for someone who's not involved in this game development.

Let me mention there is no new update before people re-download the demo and find out it's the same thing.

Hmm instead of "cheating" by slowing them down... why not make it so they are more... accident prone.... or brake too late or too early... stuff that actually could happen :)

@Ramen: (my favorite food, hehe). Anyway, yes I agree with you. This level is not part of the final product but something to showcase the features of the game. The final product will have more the things you're talking about, and it will even have dynamic objects to obstruct the pathways.

@All: For those of you artists who are interested in working with my team, I've just updated my profile so you can see some of my background info. Send me emails for any queries.
Thanks.
