Buying the Torque Engine

#1 Do you get an error message?

#2 No I didn't but I just managed to get to buy it, problem though the stupid British Telecom still haven't restored my telephone line and I noticed that the download page says that the link will expire in 8 hours I have a previous version but I think it was the demo 1.2 can I use this? or can I put a registration key in the demo version that comes with the book?

#3 Don't worry. You should be able to just redownload it from your profile here on GG (at least that's how T2D works).

There is no difference in the actual engine between the demo and full version. It's just you get the source code and the right to release anything you make with the full version.

#4 The "this link will expire in 8 hours" is just to stop people posting the link on the internet for all to download.

You can download TGE as many times as you like by just going to the " My Account" section on this site.


The book comes with a precompiled version of TGE for you to learn off (v1.2 I think)

#5 Oh I see, good because BT are really crap at the moment I will get the 1.3 and then the book with 1.2 demos in lets see if this incompetant telecom company actually restores my number at the weekend I really want to get moving with the Torque engine I just got Tribes Vengance and I got Starsiege, Tribes and Tribes 2 already
