Need a little Help

by Cy · in Torque Game Engine · 09/28/2005 (4:12 pm) · 12 replies

I wanted to make it so that when the character walks on different ground types it will walk at different speeds. Does anyone know how this can be done? Or have any examples?

Thanks,
~Cyber

I think they did that in beaver patrol but I don't know how. you could always do it the cheap way and use a physical zone or even invisible water.

Beaver Patrol has disappeared off the face of the internet. :(

Someone cracked their site a few months ago.. and nothing's ever been said since then about Game Beavers. I wish I still had Beaver Patrol 1.3.

Guys, please don't hijack the poor guy's thread....or at least help him along with his issue.

If you want to discuss Game Beaver, put it in another thread!

@Fail66, yes my e-mail can take up to 750MB of storage, so the 30MB should be nothing, send at will! :)

@Cy, addMaterialMapping should be what you're looking for, as Ben Garney mentioned in a similar thread.
