FYI: TSE blue screen error on Dual monitors

Im sure the GG people have encountered this already, but I tried using TSE on a machine with dual monitors today, and got a blue screen error. I originally thought it was my drivers, since this is the first time ive run TSE on the 77.77 ones, but once I disabled my second monitor it ran fine.
Windows gave me this link when I reported the error to microsoft:
http://oca.microsoft.com/en/response.aspx?SGD=ab6c95e7-db51-4658-9d0e-ccc41835f7ad&SID=10
The crash occurs with the TSE demo too, so im guessing it just doesnt like dual monitors. Just an FYI in case the GG guys dont already know, its not going to caus a huge problem for me.

Has always worked for me as well on dual monitors. I have not tried to make the window span the two monitors though, which you can now finally do in windows (the same way as nvidia) with the new catalyst drivers.

Ive got stereoscopic 3d drivers installed for my 3d glasses? And I also have Nvidias utility for putting a different desktop background on each monitor. Other than that, pretty standard setup, and I reformatted a couple of weeks ago, so its unlikely to be a random glitch.

All I did is run the program, as if I was going to play a game. I double clicked the Icon, it opened in my primary monitor as normal, I loaded the feature walkthough and after a few second a blue screen flickered up on my secondary monitor, and a second later the same thing came up on my primary and the machine crashed. I guess it must be something else on my system...Ive got stereoscopic 3d drivers installed for my 3d glasses? Hmm, what happens if you turn off the 3d glasses? How about the background utility? One ideo card or two? I develop TSE pretty much exclusively on a dual monitor system without any problems, so there must be something different on your end - if we can identify what it is we can figure out if there's a way we can improve our code.

So it seems that single monitor with 3D is fine, but if you want dual monitors, you cant use 3D glasses. But since most people wouldnt be playing a game with two monitors, only developing on them, it doenst strike me as a huge problem.

Im running a single Nvidia Geforce 5950 with two CRT monitors. I just tried it with the 3D glasses disabled, and it ran fine, so it must just be those. So it seems that single monitor with 3D is fine, but if you want dual monitors, you cant use 3D glasses. If you ever find out what was breaking with 3d glasses, we'd be delighted to hear about it. Don't have any such hardware here at the office so it's hard to debug (and even if we did, it might be hard to budget time for the task).

Of course, Ill be happy to inform you if I figure that out. But like I said, it works in single monitor, so its not really an issue.

(It's something that would be nice to fix here as we work with a fair number of simulation developers, and it's likely some point down the road someone else will actually want to use 3d glasses or at least use 'em.)

I've got a pair at home... I should bring them in.

I know I've seen the second work fine, so I'm guessing that you are actually trying to expand the TSE window to two separate monitors?
