Hey, can Torque only be opened using Xcode or Project Builder? I just downloaded the indie licensed version and there is no program, just a bunch of files. How do I run Torque?

Okay, so you for sure need Xcode or something like it, Torque is not a stand alone program, it is just code, correct?Thank you

Torque needs to be complied. You can Use visual C++. Do a search for Torque Build Enviroment also.

With Torque, you get the sourcecode, and that means you get the power!

@Eric: correct. you need a compiler to compile the demo. If you have any probs compiling, check the documentation here on the GG site. I suggest this page for getting up and running: www.garagegames.com/mg/projects/tge/#setupWith Torque, you get the sourcecode, and that means you get the power!

Also, make sure you check out the "examples" directory, it contains an example of what you can do with Torque in the starter-fps and starter-racing kits. You can open that and run around and shoot some orcs, or drive around and get to know Torque.--
