An open letter to T2D developers

To Melv, Josh, et al:
^ there is the open letter.
you see, I've posted a lot of feature requests and nitpicky bug reports over the past few days. What can I say except- T2D 1.0.2 is awesome and there is no other game engine I would consider using :-)
Also check out my T2D blending demo if you haven't yet seen that thread.

I don't know if you realize how pleased I was to see it compile without hitch on my Linux box, and work flawlessly on my Mac. (surprisingly, the only platform that caused me some grief was Windows - needed to update graphic driver ;)).
Not only does it run smoothly, it's also feature rich--something that I found lacking in many F/OSS game engine like SDL, Allegro, etc. I love the fact that it work with camera space instead of screen (pixel) space. The GUI is great to have and a tile editor is undreamed of. I could go on.
I'm greatly looking forward to the 'beta' version of T2D so I can bring my project to the next level.
You guys rock!

Ditto for me! I'm an open-source kinda guy, and I rarely buy commercial software. After reading about GG for a while, and seeing what T2D was able to do, I cracked, and forked out $100 for the product -- My second software purchase this year after Tiger.I don't know if you realize how pleased I was to see it compile without hitch on my Linux box, and work flawlessly on my Mac. Id also like to add you, Alex, you've been a big help here too. I chime in with a torquescript question, you are there with documentation to back up your claims, shaming my poor implementations :)
Josh, thanks for the updates. I know everybody is super busy, Melv has been quiet (which is a good thing, keep that head down and hands on the kybd!), but it is nice to get updates on progress and (gasp!) queries for input from the community!
I've been a member of GG for nearly 4 years, and while this whole place is great, I love the T2D sub-culture. This place is purely awesome. You guys are great. Seriously.
OK, so that wasn't just T2D developers, but people who are working hard so the rest of us don't have to :)

Please keep it all coming, everyone. And once TDN launches, hopefully everyone will pitch in and start porting a lot of this stuff on over there so it's organized, easy to find, and accessible!
