Help needed with Virtual Reality Hardware

I am looking for someone that can help setup the Virtual-Reality Peripheral Network (VRPN) library. It is a set of classes inside a libray that link to a server that links to the hardware. This will help most users trying to use the Torque engine for VR.
Please check out this link:

I have used this system in other less usfull 3d engines and have found it to be wounderfull in seting up a VR device. I just cant seem to figure out where to start adding it to Torque.
If this works and I can get my Polhemus Fastrak working inside the Torque, this might just be worth a few hundred $$$ to me.. I am in great need of this!!
Oh and if I have posted this in the wrong forum please excuse me.
Thanks,

I have done some work with WorldViz and VRPN with great success but the cost of the software is just way out there and the graphics seem to just suck. ;) I love the flow of Torque and would love to see it used on my Virtuality Pods for some really up to date games and graphics. Thanks

Well I have been working on VR with torque for the past few weeks. Maybe I'll try and set this up.

I own a standard web camera, and a projector. I use motion traking with the web camera and I dispaly the world through a projection on the screen. I'm waiting for a company who's name I have forgotten, to release there new 3d projection system, it allows people to interact with 3d life like holograms in the real world. Basicaly like the Startrek hologram room, this technology is not really know to many people right now, although I think the next Nintendo system may feature this technology. I'm also working on a device that will make the user have infinite walking space, because I'm not keeping my VR work a secret I would be glad to explain more in detail on some of my projects.

That sounds very interesting, does the 3D system use some kind of polerized glass projection system. We will be getting into this very soon and will be looking to add sterioscopic vision to Torque. sounds like we could have some very interesting conversations.VR is my thing.
Thanks,

I still look for Nintendo PowerGloves to hack...even though some company has put out an updated version recently.
Im interested to see what y'all come up with!

I dont have much to add to this conversation except my fond memories of the book Garage Virtual Reality from many many years ago. It was light years ahead of any other discussion of the topic at the time.I still look for Nintendo PowerGloves to hack...even though some company has put out an updated version recently.
Im interested to see what y'all come up with!
