Saved Favorites...

The one thing that has always bugged me about the "My Account" section is that there is no way to save resource links or forum links and organize it there rather than in my own bookmarks list.
This would be a great advantage for developers that use many different systems. Sometimes I find my self researching issues at work, or while traveling with my laptop, or while compiling on one box, I may switch over to another box to research new tricks.
I know I can use a third party solution but honestly I feel it would be more natural for it to be included in the very site that I use on a regular basis.
I am sure this has been suggested before, has any reason been given as to why this may not be a good idea?
